Chizuru Asakura was born in Nagoya, Japan and began studying rhythmic gymnastic and dance at the age of ten. She performed professionally for seven years in musical theater as a dancer, singer, and actress for Chukyo TV, Suisei Musical Productions, Zero's Dance Theater Company, Sanrio Purlo Land, Tivori Park, Reoma World, and the Phoenix Resort in their productions of such as FAME, Hance's Adventure, Dream Time Limit, The Basic Stage, Ocean Dome, Zero, My Dream, Dance in Hollywood, The Ocean Revue, Just a Dance and One. Since coming to NYC in 2002, she has performed as a principle dancer with Thorn Dance Theater the Tribe, Morgan Scott Ballet, Harmony Opera Company, as a soloist singer with Cinema VII Productions, and as a soloist dancer with Pierlon Productions. She would like to thank her parents for their love and support.








Madoka Asato was born in Okinawa. She received her Master of Physical Education from Osaka University of Health Sports Science, and licensed in physical education by the Japanese Government. She has performed with Shigenori Ide and Shigemi Kitamura, and her choreography has appeared at Kinki University Art Festival 2001 in Japan. She came to New York in 2003. She performed at Gershwin Hotel, Dance Space Center, and University Settlement.














Kiori Kawai graduated from Osaka University of Arts with a major in Musical Theater and joined the performances produced by Joban Kosan Corp. at Theme Parks as a dancer and singer in Japan. She trained at International Visa Student Program of Dance Space Center, and obtained certification of Pilates Mat and Equipment through Kane School of Core Integration. She also has a teacher certification of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga at Sri Pantanjala Yogashara under the guidance of Mr. BNS. Iyengar in Mysole India. As a modern dancer, she has worked with Sky Music Inc., Judson Dance Theater's Elaine Summers, Michi Dance Company, Yuki Hasegawa, and Harmonia Opera Company. Currently, she is teaching one on one session that based on Pilates and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga combined with Thai-yoga massage, breathing, and stretching in Astoria Studio and visited session.










Satomi Makida
was born in Tokyo, Japan. She began her training in ballet at age of six at Akira Egawa Ballet Studio and started her modeling career after graduating a high school. She began her professional dance career in Jazz, Modern and Theatrical dance under the direction of Mieko Yoshida, and joined Kola Hirayama's the Dance Station Express Company in 2002. She performed Final Expression at Aoyama Theater, Puzzle at Sogetu Hall. She has also performed at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan for Tokyo Nikikai Opera. After pursuing her dance career in Tokyo, she has performed under the direction of Katiti King and Richard Peirlon in NYC. She was selected to become a member of Azul Dance Theatre in 2004. She is currently modeling for Dance Sprit Magazine.












Ayumi Miki
started to dance at the age of 10, and studied ballet, jazz, modern, Spanish dance and street jazz in Japan. In 2000, she moved to the U.S. for her further study of dance to become a serious dancer. She has performed with several famous dance companies include: Nina Buisson, Blue Muse Dance, Spinning' Ronin, Bi-Trip, Takumi Bando, Sandra Sih and Jason Melms in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Illinois. Currently she studies physical story telling and improvisation dance with Takumi Bando.













Aoi Nishimura
graduated from Japan Woman's College of Physical Education majored in Dance Movement Sciences. Since moving to NY in 2004, she performed with Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance, Charly Wenzel, Spinning' Ronin Dance Company, and Stephanie Harris Dance Collective. Aoi is also a member of Suzuko Ishikawa Dance Company in Japan. She currently dances for Blue Muse Dance Company, and studies at Dance New Amsterdam.














Yayoi Suzuki,
a native of Tokyo, Japan, received her MA in Dance and Dance Education from New York University. She has worked with choreographers such as Douglas Dunn, Renata Celichowska, Lucia Wright, Gabriela Granados, and Janaki Patrik. She currently dances with Rae Ballard's Thoughts in Motion and Saba Dance Theater. She has danced with Yuki Hasegawa since 2002. Yayoi would like to thank her parents, Yashiro and Akemi Suzuki, for their love and support.














Asami Hasegawa
is a web designer in New York City, who specializes in website design and development, logo design, poster design, and multimedia design. She has designed and developed websites for various companies and artists. Born in Los Angeles, California, she majored in Computer Information Systems at California State of Long Beach. After three years in Japan as a translator and interpreter, she currently works in New York City as a web designer.
